Love My Customers

Love My Customers

First, I wasn’t sure what to title this. I just hit 50 sales and I wanted to take a moment just to tell my customers how happy it makes me to know that some people really enjoy the Clutter games.

I put this version of the website up a couple of years ago in order to get more feedback on my first Clutter game. I don’t spend a lot of time on it because it takes me away from working on the next game, but I read anything people post here and I try to blog occasionally just to give people who visit here something different to read. Other than that, it’s just a status occasionally on the main page. I’ve had over 200 people take the Survey and I need to put a new one up…but the feedback is appreciated. And I’ve only had about 80 people comment beyond the Survey.

So to have 50 sales fairly quickly means that a lot of people check out my site (about 150 a day)…but only a rare few decide to comment.

But I want to say it’s the rare few that do comment that make my day. It’s difficult to explain exactly why I enjoy hearing from anyone who’s played Clutter…but I do. Whether it’s compliments or complaints I enjoy the feedback. I also like noticing where in the world people are from and I’m thinking of starting a World Map (and/or a US Map) to mark the places that people play Clutter.

I’ve been creating games for many years now with varying degrees of success mostly creating games for other companies…but this is the first time I’ve really had a chance to hear from the people that play them.

And I do appreciate my customers (love might be too strong a word) because they make it possible for me to make more “Joe” games. And hearing your thoughts just gets me motivated for the next one.

I don’t think I’m saying it well…but thanks for stopping by, and doubly thanks for anyone who’s ever commented here. It’s been a learning experience for me…and it’s always a better day when I even get one comment from someone who enjoys the Clutter games.

Thanks…Joe

    Dear Ana, dear Joe,

thank you very much for these inspiring games. I recently discovered your clutter puzzles on “myplaycity.com” and there the first four games of clutter are absolutely free of charge. Since the quality is really impressing, I wondered why.

There seem to be very few mistakes in them and enough variety to really enjoy them. One thing irritated me a little, there does not seem to be a clear distinction in the player/version correlation when you play clutter games parallel. I created four players and make sure at the start to select the correct one for each version.

Something else I would like to share: I am a little bit of a messy and I really started to toss things out, in order to have more room for the necessities. Thank you for helping.

I am a 62 year old woman from Vienna/Austria, so if you possibly will update your maps sometime, there will be at least one dot in this area.

Much success with your work and, Ana, I really like your pottery.

I recently became aware of your Clutter games via Big Fish Games. I played the 1 hour free trial of Clutter & Clutter II: He Said, She Said & decided to buy them both. I had no idea there are more than that so I can’t wait to play them as well. My favorite genre is hidden object games. I don’t actually buy many games because most of them are very similar. I really enjoyed your games since they’re different, but the deciding factor in buying them is your outlook on life. I read through everything you wrote. The book, the pop-ups, the food for thought, all of it. So, I want you to know how much I appreciate your time & effort in sharing your positive outlook on life with everyone. Thank you.

If you happen to start that world map/us map of where people play clutter, then I think you should share it on your site here so all your fans can see just where the rest of us are playing. Perhaps if you can find a way to update it from time to time that would be possible?

I just read your “Love my Customers” and I just wanted to share how I came to know of your website. If it weren’t for Amazon, where I bought both Clutter and Clutter 2, I would not have known about these fun filled games you have made.
So far Clutter 5 & Clutter 2 are my favorites. Please keep making more clutter games as I know lots of your fans (me included), would just be thrilled if you kept going.

I just got hooked on clutter recently – over the last couple of weeks. Clutter 3 and IV so far. I think the games are really a lot of fun. WHO IS THE VOID I was like this guy is crazy who is the void who is the void any how played through the entire game and was totally immersed. Showed it to my mom and then we played thru the entire game again. Thanks for making a good one – all of ’em!
