Joe is not Leon
Anyone who's played the original Clutter game knows a little bit about Joe. Joe is not Leon, but some of the details of Joe's life were worked into the story. Here are just some of the real facts of Joe's 65-Plus years of life.
Joe was born in a little town called Penacook N.H., a voting district of Concord N.H. but a separate town (population was about 3000 back then). Joe attended Immaculate Conception School until 6th grade and then attended Merrimack Valley High School. Joe decided to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Joe graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Joe only took one computer course at RPI.Joe moved on to work at iWin creating the highly successful Mah Jong Quest I, II and III (and little game called Sproink). After leaving iWin at the end of 2009 to work on his own games he joined an Atlanta Slots/Gaming company beginning in 2011 and ending in 2013. Joe now devotes 100% of his time to Puzzles By Joe and The Clutter Series.
Hi Joe,
Clutter 7 is great! I just finished the main story, really enjoyed playing the game and reading your story. Glad to know you are continuing with the Clutter line.
The music is outstanding!
Just a couple of requests. All of the puzzles were fun except the ones where the pieces keep moving around. And, as there are fewer pieces left, they move faster. I don’t really want to skip the puzzles, so is it possible to either slow down the movement or turn it off altogether. Just a minor stress point.
After the main story, I am now playing the separate puzzles. When I exit, it appears the game does not save and I have to start over.
Thanks again for Clutter!
Hi Alf:
What do you mean by the “separate puzzles”?
What do you mean that the game is not saving? (Can you do screen shots?)
(Are you saying you don’t see progress in the Control Screen?)
Any additional information would be appreciated.
Joe
Hey Joe.
LOVE the Clutter games – especially Clutter II. By far my favorite activity is Big and Small. Would you consider a version of all Big & Small? I suspect (from other comments I’ve read) that it would be a big hit.
Enjoyed reading your bio and felt a kinship since we’ve been in the same stomping grounds. I’m in Ithaca, NY and one of my daughters (and her fam) lives in Durham, NH.
Thanks for many enjoyable gaming hours.
Shirley
Hi Shirley
My son, Daniel graduated from Ithaca and my Goddaughter from Cornell. Very nice area.
I’ll make sure I put more Big & Small in the next game.
Joe
I love outside in dragging and dragging out to make matches, more of that please!!
Hi Joe! Just finished clutter infinity and it is my favourite version of clutter so far! Just love it to pieces. I have good old “Arthur” in my fingers as well as other places so I have had a hard time keeping up with some of the previous versions, therefore, this last one I was able to complete all the levels without any trouble at all. Please keep up the excellent work Joe, just love clutter to pieces.
I own all the Clutter games & love them. I have a question on Who’s The Void Replay. I don’t have any hints left & cannot figure out how to earn them. In the later versions of your Clutter games, hints are earned by coins & carried from game to game within that Clutter game. It seems that The Void hints are earned for each individual game. Is this a hiccup in The Void or am I missing something?
Hi Dannel:
In later games, there is an option to always allow hints.
In this game, in Void Replay, I removed the Coins and the levels are untimed.
There’s also a bug where the hints earned elsewhere won’t show up here.
In later games, the hints used elsewhere are available here.
Sorry about that.
So…you’re not missing anything.
Just a bug that I didn’t even realize was a bug until I was just about to ship Clutter IV: Minigame Madness Tour.
