This is Ana and me somewhere between Clutter V and Clutter VI. As you can see, I’m not Leon. Although a lot of Leon’s story uses facts from my own life, I didn’t once think about including my own face in the game (like some of the reviewers thought I did). There is an Ana, but she’s not that picture either. I called her Ana because of my Ana and Brazil, but that’s where the similarities end. That pic was taken about 8 years ago.
Joe is not Leon!!!
Anyone who's played the original Clutter game knows a little bit about Joe. Joe is not Leon, but some of the details of Joe's life were worked into the story. Here are just some of the real facts of Joe's 65-Plus years of life.
Joe was born in a little town called Penacook N.H., a voting district of Concord N.H. but a separate town (population was about 3000 back then). Joe attended Immaculate Conception School until 6th grade and then attended Merrimack Valley High School. Joe decided to attend Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY. Joe graduated in 1979 with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Joe only took one computer course at RPI.Joe moved on to work at iWin creating the highly successful Mah Jong Quest I, II and III (and little game called Sproink). After leaving iWin at the end of 2009 to work on his own games he joined an Atlanta Slots/Gaming company beginning in 2011 and ending in 2013. Joe now devotes 100% of his time to Puzzles By Joe and The Clutter Series.
Just wanted to let you know that I really am enjoying Clutter #18…you really outdid yourself this time, but in a good way…thanks for the great job you did on all of your games;
you wanted us to let you know what we would like in Clutter #19
1. THIN SLIDERS
2. CLUTTER GAPS
3. POP UP BOXES
4. QUOTES
5. SINGLETONS
6. SPIRALS
7. OUTSIDE IN
If I can think of more, I’ll get back with you
I just wanted to say that I enjoy your games more than most games I own. I have well over a thousand games on Steam. I have dozens and dozens of games for the Nintendo switch. I have multiple systems. But your games believe it or not, are at the top of my list of what I am enjoy playing. Thank you so much for these wonderful games at a good price range. I will probably buy every single game.
Hi, Joe! I love Clutter! The newer games are truly challenging and I am enjoying playing after several years away from them.
I have a request. Is it possible to have a “Save” feature for some of the more difficult games? I have always loved the stretch it out pictures, but some of them in the newer games are impossible to finish (at least for me) in the time I have available to play them. Having to start all over when I can come back to them is disheartening. Some of the original Clutter type games are hard to finish when there are 100 matches or more. Inevitably, I will be interrupted. I’m not a programmer, so I have no idea if it’s even possible, but thought I would ask.
Thank you for many hours of enjoyment!
Hi Joe! I own all of your games and play them over and over again. The infinity of the games is intriguing. One request perhaps? I love the Mahjong game when there is only one match of the tiles. I missed it very much in #17 (it was less of a challenge). Could you include the ‘one match’ Mahjong in #18 with new layouts? I’ve practically worn out that game in #16. I especially love the dog and cat tiles, as well as the cartoon faces!!! Oh, and the chocolates!
I’d be eternally grateful 🙂
Hello Joe,
Love the variety that you pack into each Clutter game. I get bored easily, but that never happens with your games because I can just pick another type of game to play.
I bought the first 3 games on the “fish” site and then bought the others on various sites. Jake Birkett told me that you had your own site and this is where I’ll be purchasing them from here on out.
I own all the Clutter games, and when I could work and had the income I’ve gifted them to friends (and made a few friends) too.
My Collection was just completed with Clutter 17: Flower Power CE, at least until #18 is released, and I also found this comment section and wanted to send my heartfelt thanks to you.
Somehow, somewhere along the way, I’ve become disabled and a senior, which certainly impacts my income, and my two ways of staying sane are reading Large Print books and listening to audiobooks from https://www.loc.gov/nls/ which is free is you qualify, thank goodness, or I wouldn’t be able to afford games.
I like listening to audiobooks while gaming, and sitting in a patch of sunshine with a hot cup of coffee while reading. My children are both grown, and I am owned by a Lovebird named Twiddles who is 21 years old, a very unusual age for a Lovebird to make it to, I am told.
Thank You for all the wonderful hours of entertainment and for the family who supports you so you have the time to make the games.
Be well, Joe.
